Keebler elves were in shock when they stumbled upon a tree on a local homeowner’s property that was so old and decrepit, not even the most desperate elf would consider baking in it.

The ancient tree was a massive eyesore on the otherwise picturesque neighborhood, and the elves couldn’t understand how anyone could let it continue to stand.

But all was not lost, as the homeowner eventually came to his senses and called in the experts at CalWest Tree Service in Paso Robles, CA to chop it down, cut it up, and mulch it up in a matter of hours.

The elves breathed a sigh of relief as the decrepit tree was removed and the neighborhood was once again safe from attracting up-and-coming elves looking to master their cookie baking skills in such an atrocious tree.

The elves are now looking forward to enjoying their cookies in the safety and comfort of a future tree the homeowner plans to plant that will not be older than the Keebler company.
